Ras Al Khaimah announces rollout of ABER Free Flow Tolling System for Commercial Vehicles.

‘ABER’, which means open or clear pass, is Ras Al Khaimah’s multi-lane free-flow electronic tolling system (MLFF). This means the ‘Aber’ toll gate operates without toll booths, queuing barriers or gates. The ‘Aber’ toll gate system is operated by Ras Al Khaimah’s Public Services Department (PSD), and meant for commercial heavy-goods vehicles, accessing toll gates at several locations.
Vehicles owners will need to register for an ‘ABER’ account and to fix a tag on the front windshield. ‘ABER’ system can identify vehicle by tag and/or LPN and will identify vehicle class and capture GVW.
